In which cities can I get a washy?- At the moment only cars in Bristol UK. 

 

Can I really book a wash for anywhere? - Yes, if your car is in a car park, at work, home or somewhere else we will wash it as long as you tell us where it is.

 

Don't you need access to my car?- No. We do exterior washes only to make the service as convenient as possible.

 

Why don't I need to be there?- Because we don't need access to your car and we know which car is yours and you will have already paid. We can happily clean your car whilst you aren't around.

 

How do I pay, I don't have a Paypal account?- You don't need a Paypal account to be able to pay online. When you get redirected to the Paypal page look for the link that says "pay by credit or debit card" under the "pay with Paypal" tab. Then you simply input your card details. We would advise you get an account as it allows for much faster booking, you only need to put give your email address and a password to complete the payment transaction.

 

How specific do I need to be about the cars location?- If you know your car will be near the location you have put on the map but not necessarily exactly there, then make sure you leave your phone number so we can call you at the time of the wash to find out.

 

Do waterless washes actually work?- Everyone is entitled to their opinion, and our opinion is that you will be surprised at how good they are and how polished they leave cars looking.

 

What are the environmental benefits of waterless washes?- In short, its a pretty big deal. Traditonal washes waste water and pollutes natural waters harming ecosystems. According to one report, washing a car at home typically uses between 80 and 140 gallons of water, and although a commercial car wash averages less than 45 gallons per car our method uses 0 gallons of water. The soapy water that runs off the car into the gutters goes into the storm water system. Storm water, unlike the water, which enters the sewers, does not undergo treatment before it is discharged into our waterways. Any pollutants in storm water end up in our lakes, rivers, harbours and oceans. Some soaps may also contain phosphates, which can cause excess algae to grow in local waterways. Algae look bad, smell bad, and harm water quality. As algae decay, the process uses up oxygen in the water that fish need to survive, as well as producing C02. 

 

Why Washy?- We found car washing is pretty low down on peoples agenda. To plan a time and place to get your car washed is not fun it takes time and doing it yourself results in wet clothes and poor results. For something that is already a chore it seems the services out there don't make it a particularly pleasant experience. You don't want to wait a minimum of 15 minutes to have a mediocre car wash. With washy you can book a wash whilst you are busy doing other things (at work, at the shops, abroad, etc.) and the whole process will take less than 2 minutes. This plus the environmental benefits of washy make it a more convenient and better experience.
